From the choir, for the choir.
Together, we bring over 60 years of choir experience — as singers, as a choir director, as a voice teacher. We all know the feeling: you're standing in rehearsal working through the notes again instead of finally refining the sound. As a choir director, you might even prepare practice recordings, but they get lost in the chat or simply aren't used. Sheet music and notes are scattered, and new members especially struggle to find their way into the existing choir structure. The digital solutions that already exist are mostly just organisational tools and often simply not built so that everyone in the choir can actually use them. We wanted a tool that is more than just a better calendar or file storage — one that helps both choir directors and singers, and that everyone actually enjoys using.
So we started building cori. Not with a grand plan, but with real problems we had ourselves. And from the very beginning, together with our choirs, who honestly told us what works and what doesn't. We've rebuilt a lot of it. Some things multiple times. But that's exactly how it should be: cori isn't built for choirs, but with them.
What matters to us
Choir life is about togetherness. That should also apply to the tools choirs use. That's why we regularly talk to choir directors and singers, listen to what actually helps in everyday life, and build accordingly. No features for the press release — just things that make a real difference between rehearsals and during them.
